About Coach Kim's Bootcamp

Primary School PE Teacher 🐝 Health and Wellbeing Lead @ Broadoak Primary 🐝 Owner of Coach Kim’s Bootcamp 🐝

 

My name is Coach Kim and I have been teaching primary school PE and spreading the love of fitness since 2008. As well as delivering different sport sessions in PE, I also deliver physical and mental well-being sessions by setting up kids fitness, yoga and boxercise lessons. These sessions can be found on my Youtube page as well as my twitter and Instagram page.

 

In January 2018 I decided to set up a Bootcamp class for adults, I wanted parents and the local community to get the chance to become fit and educate themselves on a healthy lifestyle at an affordable price.

 

All my adult Bootcamp classes are designed to burn calories, build strength, endurance, cardio and most importantly confidence.

So I began this challenge just after christmas feeling sluggish and very uninspired....I'd never done anything like this before. I'd dieted in the past but never stuck to it. I was pretty unfit and drove everywhere. I used to eat what I thought was healthy but after tracking my food and seeing the hidden calories...I couldnt believe it. It really does make you appreciate what is in the food you eat. I bought myself a fit bit and really tried to up the steps!! I can honestly say from completing the challenge I have a different mind set and have changed so many things. I will go for the healthier options and cook everything from scratch...I have been walking to and from places such as shopping/taking my daughter to her dance class and even walked 5 miles to my mums the other day instead of driving!! I love it it helps me think and I try and up my steps every day, most I have achieved so far is 19000 and cant wait to beat it!! I enjoy cooking and trying new recipes...it has helped my IBS, being less bloated and I feel so much happier and positive in myself- I have honestly never felt so fit and focused. I cant thank you enough for inspiring me and the support. Your positivity is infectious and bootcamp is my fave hobby!!
